A five hour festival of new performance at Conway Hall in Holborn, celebrating the hall, its history and its neighbourhood, devised, created and hosted by The Conway Collective, the hall’s performers in residence.
Five hours of fun and frolicks where the possibility of “anything happening” becomes a reality. Conway Hall is crammed to bursting point with a diverse mix of drama, comedy, dance, film, live music, micro and macro performances.

PROGRAMME:

  • 5.00 – 5.30 Joshua Seigal: The Legend of Ooshus Magooshus (And Lots of Other Poems) and features poetry aimed at children aged 5-11.
  • 5.30 – 6.00 Pat Holden: Dead Rabbits
  • 6.00 – 6.30 London Metropolitan University Dancers: New Choreographies
  • 6.30 – 7.00 Morley College Actors: Voice and Action – prose poetry and movement ensemble
  • 7.00 – 7.30 Sean Bruno: Remission (solo show based off Bulgakov’s ‘A Dead Man’s Memoir’)
  • 7.30 – 8.00 Gemma Whelan: Chastity Butterworth. She is a wonderful, strange and incongruous creature from another time, she tells jokes, reads out her poems and plays and recalls events from childhood – along with many other anecdotes and funnies.
  • 8.00 – 8.10 Tara Pilbrow Dance and Association En Cavale: L’Histoire Coule de Source (UK premier of new dance film)
  • 8.10 – 8.30 Philip Cowell & Tim Taylor: A Little Larger Than The Entire Universe – dance, theatre, film and philosophy
  • 9.00 – 9. 15 Sushma Mehta and Fenella Juanita Barker and dancers: Kathak and Flamenco Synthesis
  • 9.15 – 9. 30 Yann Allsopp: The Voyages of Captain Ridley Part 6: Alone in the Wilderness
  •  9.30 – 10.00 Ukulele Band: Watch out for the Bear
